On February 8th, Bad Bunny made history as the first Puerto Rican artist to headline the Super Bowl. His 13-minute performance was a lively show featuring a variety of well-known guests, including singers, rappers, actors, and other celebrities, all performing for millions of viewers during the Super Bowl LVIII halftime show.
Bad Bunny started his concert at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, with a show-stopping performance of “Tití Me Preguntó,” immediately followed by “Yo Perreo Sola,” which included a special appearance by Cardi B. The performance also featured a surprise group of backup dancers, including Jessica Alba, Alix Earle, Karol G, and Pedro Pascal, who added to the excitement. Puerto Rican rapper Young Miko and entrepreneur David Grutman also made appearances during the show.
So far, most celebrities had only made brief appearances, either dancing or getting the crowd excited. But when Lady Gaga arrived to perform a fresh take on her hit song “Die With A Smile,” the energy really shifted. She even shared a salsa dance with Bad Bunny before he unveiled more surprises. Then, Ricky Martin took the stage to perform his own version of Bad Bunny’s song, “Lo Que Le Pasó a Hawaiʻi.”

During the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks game – which the Seahawks won 29-13 – Puerto Rican artist Bad Bunny showcased his heritage in a 13-minute performance. The game also drew a star-studded crowd, including Kim Kardashian, Lewis Hamilton, Jay-Z and Blue Ivy Carter, Adam Sandler, Travis Kelce, Justin and Hailey Bieber, Travis Scott, Keke Palmer, Emma Roberts, Kevin Costner, Jon Bon Jovi, Chris Pratt, Kendall Jenner, 21 Savage, Tracy Morgan, Kehlani, Becky G, Machine Gun Kelly, Daniel Radcliffe, Rob Lowe, Russell Wilson, Ciara, and J Balvin.
Green Day kicked off the pre-game show with a performance, while Charlie Puth sang the National Anthem. After that, Brandi Carlile performed “America the Beautiful,” and Coco Jones delivered a powerful rendition of “Lift Every Voice and Sing.”
