As a huge film and gaming enthusiast, I was absolutely blown away by this fan-made mod! You’ve got Red Dead Redemption, that gritty, realistic Western about outlaws and bounty hunters, and then Pokémon, this vibrant world of collectible creatures and battles. They seem totally different, right? So, I was incredibly excited to see a YouTuber figured out how to blend them together perfectly. It’s amazing to watch this mod turn Red Dead Redemption 2 into a Pokémon experience – it’s something you really have to see to believe!

I never would have imagined combining Red Dead Redemption 2 with Pokémon, but a YouTuber named Blurbs actually pulled it off! This mod lets you play as Arthur Morgan, but instead of an outlaw, he’s a Pokémon trainer. Since the world doesn’t have Pokémon like Pikachu or Bulbasaur, you catch horses, ducks, and other wild animals instead. It’s a pretty unique combination!

This mod lets players “catch” animals by throwing a ball at them, similar to Pokémon. The animal might get captured and added to your collection, or it could break free and attack! It’s a really impressive modification to the game.

This mod includes some great extra features! You can give any Pokémon you catch a custom name, and you’ll see HP bars and animated battle sequences. Starting a battle is easy – just walk up to an opponent and select them to fight. And for those curious, Uncle is actually a Gym Leader in the game! Everything I’ve described is just a small part of what this amazing mod offers. Blurbs has done a fantastic job capturing all the details that make Pokémon so beloved, but reimagined in the style of Red Dead Redemption.
