And here’s the official description for Young Sherlock from Prime Video:
This series reveals the origins of the famous detective Sherlock Holmes. As a rebellious young man, he encounters his future nemesis, James Moriarty, and becomes entangled in a dangerous murder case that puts his own freedom at risk. The investigation takes him across the globe, uncovering a vast conspiracy and culminating in a dramatic confrontation that will change his life forever. Set in a lively Victorian England, the show explores the early, wild adventures of the future Baker Street detective before he became a legend.
Guy Ritchie directed the first two episodes of Young Sherlock and is also an executive producer on the show. Matthew Parkhill created the series and serves as its showrunner. The main cast includes Hero Fiennes Tiffin, along with Dónal Finn (known from The Wheel of Time), Zine Tseng (3-Body Problem), Natascha McElhone (Halo), and Max Irons (Condor). Plus, you’ll recognize acting legends Joseph Fiennes and Colin Firth! This period drama is set in the 19th century, but with a bit more action and explosions than you might expect – and that’s a good thing.

Young Sherlock debuts on Prime Video on March 4.
