The new film Wuthering Heights will be released in theaters on February 13th, perfect for Valentine’s Day weekend. Experts predict it could make between $45 and $60 million during its first weekend. The director, Emerald Fennell – known for her work on Saltburn – calls this version of the classic Emily Brontë story a “wild and passionate” update, and the movie’s soundtrack features music by Grammy-winning artist Charli XCX.
Alongside her acting work as Catherine Earnshaw, Robbie’s production company, LuckyChap Entertainment, is actively working on several projects, including a live-action movie based on the video game The Sims.
Jacob Elordi, who plays Heathcliff alongside Robbie, has been very busy with projects this year. He recently starred as Elvis Presley in Priscilla and appeared in Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein. Hong Chau, Ewan Mitchell, and Alison Oliver round out the supporting cast of Wuthering Heights.
