Selena Gomez is starting an exciting new phase in her life, both personally and professionally. She recently visited an Ulta Beauty store in El Segundo, California, to celebrate a big achievement for her makeup brand, Rare Beauty. This came after her wedding to music producer Benny Blanco in September 2025, and she seems happier and more confident than ever.
At the event, Selena Gomez, 33, talked about her current style and how comfortable she feels with herself. She described her current beauty preferences as classic with a touch of sexiness. She explained that she still feels young and is really enjoying a flirty, classic look right now.
Rare Beauty’s launch at Ulta marks a significant milestone, being its first major expansion into retail stores after almost six years. Seeing her products displayed on the shelves was a very emotional moment for the founder, who called it ‘surreal’ and said the visit to the store finally made everything feel real.
This collaboration with the beauty retailer goes beyond simply selling products. Throughout February, a charitable aspect will be included, allowing customers to support a good cause. Gomez explained that shoppers will have the option to donate at checkout, with 50% of each donation going to the Ulta Beauty Charitable Foundation.
The other half of the donations will go to the Rare Impact Fund, which works to improve mental health support and education for young people. Gomez shared her deep appreciation that the retailer is supporting both her products and the larger cause they represent. Focusing on meaningful missions like this has become a key part of how she builds her business.
Beyond her work as an entrepreneur, Selena Gomez is having a very successful moment in Hollywood. She’s receiving fantastic reviews for her role in the musical drama Emilia Pérez, making her a strong awards season hopeful. The film, also featuring Zoe Saldaña and Karla Sofía Gascón, has been lauded for its daring story and Gomez’s impressive performance.
Selena Gomez is also set to play music icon Linda Ronstadt in a new movie. She’s already been preparing for the role, working with producers James Keach and John Boylan, and has even spent time getting to know Ronstadt herself.
On TV, Gomez is continuing her success with the fifth season of Only Murders in the Building, which now features new stars Renée Zellweger and Christoph Waltz as they join the show’s intriguing storyline.
She’s also going back to her beginnings by executive producing and appearing in the new series, Wizards Beyond Waverly Place. She’s recently suggested she might focus more on acting and producing than on her music career going forward.
