The conflict between Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz, and his parents David and Victoria Beckham, is continuing to escalate. So far, Nicola’s wealthy family has remained largely quiet, seemingly wanting to stay out of the situation. When asked about the public disagreement, Nicola’s father, Nelson Peltz, reiterated his desire for privacy but also made it clear he supports his daughter and her husband, showing where his loyalties lie.
Nelson Peltz has responded to Brooklyn Beckham’s recent complaints about his parents, where Brooklyn claimed they were overly controlling of his life.
According to TMZ, the 83-year-old businessman was at a public event in West Palm Beach, Florida when a reporter asked about his daughter’s in-laws. He responded with a blunt request for privacy, telling the press to “stay out of it.” He’s generally kept his family life private, focusing instead on his work and building his business.
Despite recent family drama, Nelson Peltz demonstrated a sense of humor, jokingly claiming he hadn’t even noticed the press coverage. While this doesn’t mean the family issues are resolved, it suggests he’ll handle things privately. This contrasts with his son-in-law, Brooklyn Beckham, who publicly shared a detailed six-page letter accusing the Peltz family of attempting to create conflict between him and his wife, Nicola, and ruling out any chance of reconciliation.
Ultimately, the prominent investor publicly backed his daughter and her partner, hoping they’ll have a lasting and joyful marriage. David Beckham, however, disagreed with their choices, believing his child was making an error in judgment, but stating he would allow them to follow their path. Victoria Beckham has remained silent on the matter, choosing not to comment publicly.
