‘Here Comes the Boom’ (2012)

‘Here Comes the Boom’ tells the story of Scott Voss, a frustrated high school biology teacher who goes to extreme lengths to save his school’s music program. The character originated with Molly Shannon on ‘Saturday Night Live,’ and the film uses slapstick humor to show what Mary Katherine is really thinking and feeling. It’s remembered as a fun and unique story about a determined girl who doesn’t quite fit in.
