I just saw the final teaser for Neon’s new animated film, “Arco,” and they also announced who’s going to do the English voice acting! I’m really excited to hear who’s involved and can’t wait to see the movie.
Natalie Portman, Will Ferrell, America Ferrera, Flea, Mark Ruffalo, and Andy Samberg are among the voice cast for the new film. Neon has announced the English-language version will debut at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 7th as a featured presentation, before being released to a wider audience.
Directed by French artist Ugo Bienvenu, “Arco” is his feature film debut. This animated movie follows a young boy from the future who time travels to a perilous past. There, he teams up with a girl and a robot to find a way home and save the world.
Check out the new trailer for ‘ARCO,’ featuring Will Ferrell, America Ferrera, Flea, Natalie Portman, Mark Ruffalo, and Andy Samberg! The movie tells the story of a boy from a quiet future who unexpectedly ends up in 2075 and finds a world facing danger. It’s playing in theaters now.

The film premiered at the Cannes Film Festival last year. Shortly after, Neon acquired the rights to distribute it throughout North America. It then received significant recognition at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival, winning awards for both Best Feature Film and Best Soundtrack.
I was so impressed to learn about the team behind this project! Bienvenu spearheaded it, working closely with Felix de Givry from Remembers. And it was wonderful to see Natalie Portman and Sophie Mas of mountainA involved as well – what a fantastic group of creatives!
I recently checked out “Arco,” and it reminded me of another fantastic animated film Neon released, “Robot Dreams,” which they snagged at Cannes last year. It’s already Neon’s fourteenth release this year – they’re really putting out a lot of interesting stuff, including films like “Together,” “Life of Chuck,” “Hell of a Summer,” and “The Monkey.”
