LEGO Introduces First New Pink Block Color in Over 20 Years

LEGO fans are experts on the colors of LEGO bricks. While black, white, and gray are very common, and reds, blues, and oranges are also frequently used, pink has always been hard to find. That’s about to change! LEGO recently announced two new colors coming in 2026: Warm Pink and Blue Violet. This means LEGO will offer a new shade of pink for the first time in over twenty years, and it’s exciting news for builders!

Warm Pink Appears in LEGO’s Love Birds Set

Warm Pink isn’t the first pink LEGO brick ever made, but genuine pink shades have been rare. Before 2026, only one other true pink existed – a bright pink color used in the Bonsai Tree set. Most bricks marketed as ‘pink’ were actually shades of purple or light red, and many of those have been discontinued. There was a short-lived medium dark pink in 1992, but Warm Pink is the first truly pink color LEGO has produced in over thirty years.

LEGO rarely introduces new colors; it’s much more common for them to discontinue existing ones. Pink hasn’t been used in LEGO sets for many years, so fans are incredibly excited about its return. It’s a change many have been waiting for, and we’ll soon be seeing Warm Pink in LEGO builds everywhere.

LEGO is adding a new color to its collection this year: Blue Violet. While they recently introduced a new pink shade, Warm Pink, the blue isn’t quite as groundbreaking since blue LEGO bricks are already pretty common. We’ll see the Warm Pink color in upcoming sets like the beautiful Japanese Cherry Blossom and the charming Love Birds, and both sets look fantastic.

For dedicated LEGO fans who can easily distinguish subtle shades of color, this is a game-changer! We’re excited to introduce Warm Pink and Blue Violet to the LEGO family.
