Kylie Jenner turned heads at the Los Angeles premiere of The Moment on January 29th. Arriving at the Fine Arts Theatre in Beverly Hills, the 28-year-old businesswoman showed off a bold outfit inspired by a look from the Maison Margiela spring collection.
She wore a full, flowing silk ball skirt with a delicate, ruffled halter top that showed off her midriff, creating a striking look. Her hair was neatly pulled back and she wore minimal jewelry, letting her bold outfit take center stage. At the event, she posed with Charli xcx, the film’s star, who opted for a contrasting style with a silver corset and leather hot pants.
Released nationwide today, January 30th, The Moment is a unique and satirical film that blends fiction with reality. It playfully critiques the music industry by following a fictionalized version of Charli XCX as she deals with the stresses of fame and turning her artistry into a brand, all while getting ready for a big tour. A standout moment in the film is the appearance of Jenner, playing a version of herself, who director Aidan Zamiri praised for her impressive acting debut.

Though Timothée Chalamet wasn’t at the Los Angeles premiere with Jenner, it was simply due to work commitments. He was in New York City promoting his new film, Marty Supreme, which has really established him as a major star this year. Chalamet recently received his third Oscar nomination for Best Actor and just won a Golden Globe for his performance in the movie.
Okay, so this couple has been everywhere this awards season, even with their busy lives! I’ve spotted them at both the Critics’ Choice and the Golden Globes, looking fantastic. And let me tell you, Kendall Jenner has been absolutely killing it with her fashion choices. She’s been giving her fans a sneak peek at her incredible custom outfits on social media before she even walks the red carpet – talk about a tease! She consistently delivers when it comes to style.
Charli XCX is making a big move into film and television, with several exciting projects coming out this year. After appearing in The Moment, she’ll be in The Gallerist, a satirical comedy alongside Natalie Portman and Jenna Ortega.
When A24 releases The Moment to more theaters this February, it’s predicted to spark a lot of discussion about how art and money connect. Featuring music by A.G. Cook and a cast of popular independent actors, the film is a good example of the current trend in storytelling that’s self-aware and reflects on itself – something we’re seeing a lot of in movies and TV right now.
