British singer Florence Welch turned heads at the “Wuthering Heights” premiere on Wednesday, January 28th, with her striking outfit. The look perfectly embodied the edgy, gothic style she’s been developing for her latest musical phase.
The singer wore a stunning and cleverly designed sheer gown by Vivienne Westwood. It had a fitted corset and a full, ruffled skirt. The dress was playfully described as a “sneaky minidress” because the way the skirt was constructed created the illusion of both a long gown and a very short dress, offering a dramatic yet edgy look.

Charli didn’t just attend the movie premiere – she’s also the creative mind behind the soundtrack album, also called “Wuthering Heights.” The 12-song album, which she recorded while on her “Brat Tour” in 2025, will be released on February 13th.
She calls her new music both beautiful and harsh, a departure from her earlier, more upbeat sound which was influenced by the dark, atmospheric scenery of the Yorkshire moors as depicted in the film. The album includes work with music icons like John Cale, and is being promoted by the single “House,” which has quickly become popular online.
Charli is now focusing on acting, with several films scheduled for release in early 2026. She recently gained attention at the Sundance Film Festival with three projects: the mockumentary “The Moment,” which she says is a farewell to her previous artistic style from 2024, and the thriller “The Gallerist,” where she stars alongside Jenna Ortega.
Emerald Fennell, who has won an Oscar, directed “Wuthering Heights,” one of the year’s most discussed films. Starring Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi as Catherine and Heathcliff, the movie is a fresh, visually striking take on the classic Emily Brontë story, set in the past.

The film stars Hong Chau, Shazad Latif, and Alison Oliver, and will be released in theaters around Valentine’s Day. Charli explained to the press that working on the film’s soundtrack allowed her to move away from her usual pop sound and explore a completely different creative direction.
