The first trailer for the new Masters of the Universe movie is finally here, and it looks like director Travis Knight is faithfully recreating the classic 1980s toys and cartoon. To coincide with the film’s release, Mattel has also unveiled a new line of action figures, called Masters of the Universe Chronicles, which will be available this spring. These collectible figures are scaled at 1:12, and there’s even talk that the movie’s actors might pose with their corresponding action figures. You can check out the first photos of the figures below.
Masters of the Universe Chronicles He-Man

I’m really excited about the new He-Man figure! It’s amazing they sculpted it to look like Nicholas Galitzine. As Prince Adam, and of course, He-Man – “The Most Powerful Man in the Universe” – this figure is incredibly detailed with 30 points of articulation. And it comes with his iconic Power Sword and even interchangeable hands! Best of all, it’s only $24.99 – a fantastic price for such a cool Masters of the Universe collectible.
Masters of the Universe Chronicles Skeletor
Skeletor, the villain from Snake Mountain and played by Jared Leto in the new movie, is a highly detailed action figure with 30 points of movement, letting you create lots of different poses. He also comes with his iconic Havoc Staff. Just looking at this figure makes you think of his evil laugh! You can own this Skeletor figure for $24.99.
Masters of the Universe Chronicles Man-At-Arms

Man-At-Arms is He-Man’s trusted friend and teacher, and he’s also Eternia’s master of weapons. In the latest movie, the role of Duncan (his actual name!) is played by Idris Elba. The Man-At-Arms action figure includes his famous mace and blaster, plus interchangeable hands, and is incredibly posable with 30 points of articulation. It will be available for $24.99.
Masters of the Universe Chronicles Teela
Teela, the captain of Eternia’s royal Guard and adopted daughter of Man-At-Arms, is now an action figure! Played by Camila Mendes (from Riverdale) in the new movie, the figure comes with a sword, rifle, and blaster. It also includes a second head with her classic 1980s bun hairstyle. The Teela action figure costs $24.99.
Masters of the Universe Chronicles Evil-Lyn
Evil-Lyn, the powerful witch and Skeletor’s most trusted ally in his attempt to take over Castle Grayskull, is now available as a highly detailed action figure. Sculpted to resemble actress Alison Brie, this ‘Warrior Goddess’ comes with her signature magical staff and an extra pair of hands. Like other figures in the line, she features 30 points of articulation and costs $24.99.
Masters of the Universe Chronicles Trap-Jaw

Trap-Jaw, one of Skeletor’s main followers, is getting a new action figure. This figure’s design closely matches the look of the original toys. It includes his iconic armor and weaponized arm with a hook, and is modeled after actor Sam C. Wilson. It’s available for $24.99.
Masters of the Universe Chronicles Tri-Klops Figure

Tri-Klops is another one of Skeletor’s devoted followers. This villain has three cybernetic eyes and comes with a blaster, extra hands, and 30 points of movement. The figure is modeled after actor Kojo Attah and costs $24.99.
Masters of the Universe Chronicles Battle Cat
Fans of He-Man will love this detailed figure of Battle Cat! Based on the movie design, this version of Cringer, He-Man’s trusty talking tiger, features a strong build, realistic eyes, and a jaw that can move. You can also remove the saddle and head armor to create different looks. Battle Cat is available for $39.99.

The trailer for Masters of the Universe showed off characters like Beast-Man, Goat-Man, Spikor, Ram-Man, and Mekanek, hinting that Mattel will release plenty more new action figures. You can find even more Masters of the Universe toys at the official Mattel Creations website.
