Marvel’s Giancarlo Esposito Calls for Revolution, Slams Trump’s ‘Civil War in the Streets’

Giancarlo Esposito, known for his recent role in the Marvel film Captain America: Brave New World, is expressing concern about increasing political division in the U.S. He believes Donald Trump and other global leaders are primarily responsible for this growing tension.

“This is the beginning of a major shift, and people don’t even realize the impact it will have,” Esposito explained Tuesday night at the Sundance Film Festival.

While at the premiere of his new independent film, The Only Living Pickpocket in New York – a thrilling crime story starring him as the main character – the Marvel actor shared his thoughts.

Actor Slams Trump and “Rich Old White Men” for Civil Unrest

In a candid interview with Variety, the actor known for his roles in Breaking Bad and The Mandalorian expressed concern about increasing dissatisfaction and tension.

He believes a powerful group of wealthy, older white men are actively working to control and harm ordinary people, fostering division and even violence. He sees this as a dangerous build-up to a larger, hidden problem affecting the world.

Esposito Warns of “Civil War in the Streets”

He directly criticized Trump’s administration, stating that even if leaders like Putin or the Iranians, or even those in Washington, tried to eliminate a large number of people, the rest of humanity would still endure and rebuild a new world.

Blames Global Leaders and Calls Out U.S. Immigration Policies

Esposito also spoke about immigration enforcement in the United States, firmly stating, “We won’t be forced out by ICE.”

Jeremy Esposito recently echoed similar sentiments to actor John Leguizamo, who previously spoke out against supporters of ICE and asked his followers to stop supporting him.
