John Leguizamo the activist

The actor and comedian is known for openly sharing his political opinions, particularly regarding immigration and discussions around inclusive representation of Latino communities.

This new video continues that trend, with Leguizamo publicly criticizing both government organizations and other performers.

In August, John Leguizamo publicly criticized actor Dean Cain after Cain announced he was joining U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). Leguizamo shared a strong rebuke on Instagram, calling Cain a “loser” and “moron” and sarcastically referring to his pronouns as “has/been.”

The actor known for his roles in John Wick and Encanto continues to be openly political and doesn’t worry about potentially losing fans because of it.

His public criticism of ICE and anyone associated with the agency continues a pattern of activism.

Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey‘s woke?

Okay, so I’m a bit disappointed, and I’ve heard some of John Leguizamo’s upcoming stuff isn’t great. Apparently, his new movie with Christopher Nolan, The Odyssey, coming out on July 17th, is getting some heat too – people are saying it’s pushing a certain agenda, and honestly, I’m not sure I want to bother with it.

Leguizamo’s upcoming projects

John Leguizamo reportedly has several upcoming projects that he hopes people who support ICE won’t see, according to IMDb.

  • Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey
  • Ice Age: Boiling Point
  • The Adventures of Drunky
  • Sinaloa’s First Lady
  • Hypno

John Leguizamo provides the voice for Mojo in the Deadpool VR game and recently lent his voice to a character in Disney’s Zootopia 2. He’s also recognizable for his work in the John Wick franchise.
