In addition to attending fashion shows in Paris, Johnson is experiencing a very busy and successful time in her career. She just finished filming Verity, a thriller based on the popular novel by Colleen Hoover.

The new movie, coming to theaters October 2nd, features Dwayne Johnson as Lowen Ashleigh, a writer facing hard times. She discovers unsettling truths while secretly writing the autobiography of a famous author, played by Anne Hathaway. Josh Hartnett also stars, and the film is directed by Michael Showalter, who previously directed Hathaway in The Idea of You.

Beyond her acting, Johnson is also set to direct her first feature film, Trudy Blue. She’s developing the project through her production company, TeaTime Pictures, and the story is particularly meaningful as it was written by her Cha Cha Real Smooth colleague, Vanessa Burghardt.

Actress Anya Taylor-Joy, 36, is currently dating musician Tucker Pillsbury, who performs as Role Model. The two have been seen on several dates in Los Angeles after Taylor-Joy ended her relationship with Chris Martin of Coldplay in June.
