THE SIMPSONS 800th Episode Sees Noah Wyle, Quinta Brunson, and Kevin Bacon

As a lifelong fan, it’s incredible to think The Simpsons is almost at episode 800! Seriously, that’s more episodes than there have been days in over two and a half years. When you hit a milestone like that, you have to celebrate properly, and the show is definitely doing just that. They’ve announced a fantastic guest cast for the big episode, including Kevin Bacon, Noah Wyle, Quinta Brunson, and even Boyz II Men! I can’t wait to see it.

The 800th episode of The Simpsons, titled “Irrational Treasure,” will air on Sunday, February 15th. Listen closely, and you’ll hear some well-known voices alongside the usual cast members. Katherine LaNasa and Taylor Dearden, who starred in The Pitt, appear as doctors and nurses. As you may know, Kevin Bacon and Kim Dickens will play a hotel concierge and a doctor—a role similar to one Dickens previously played. Plus, Quinta Brunson from Abbott Elementary lends her voice to a character named Adrienne, and Questlove voices a tour guide. Boyz II Men also provides the musical score for the episode.

In this episode, the Simpson family heads to the National Dog Show in Philadelphia and unexpectedly gets caught up in a historical mystery—a plot that’s clearly inspired by the movie National Treasure. It’s a shame they weren’t able to get Nicolas Cage to make a cameo! Here’s a more detailed look at what happens:

To celebrate its 800th episode, Boyz II Men will perform a special version of the show’s theme song and also sing a unique take on the closing credits music. The show has been renewed for a remarkable 40th season, guaranteeing it will continue airing through at least 2029. It seems The Simpsons will be around for a very long time!
