Marvel has just dropped the first trailer for Season 2 of Daredevil: Born Again, promising another thrilling ride with the iconic hero.

The next chapter of Matt Murdock’s journey begins streaming March 24, exclusively on Disney+.

Matt Murdock vs. Mayor Fisk

The new season takes place in New York City after the events of the Blip. It focuses on Matt Murdock, who is still recovering from previous conflicts, as he finds himself branded as a public enemy by the powerful Mayor Wilson Fisk.

The Kingpin is back and stronger than ever, ruling New York from both City Hall and the shadows.

With the ruthless Kingpin closing in, Daredevil battles from the shadows to destroy Fisk’s criminal organization and save Hell’s Kitchen.

New Allies and Old Faces

Charlie Cox is back as Daredevil, and Vincent D’Onofrio returns as the formidable Wilson Fisk. Familiar faces joining them this season include Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Ayelet Zurer as Vanessa Fisk, Wilson Bethel as Bullseye, and Margarita Levieva as Heather Glenn.

Viewers can also look forward to Krysten Ritter reprising her role as Jessica Jones, and this appearance could suggest connections to the larger group of heroes known as the Defenders.

This season welcomes Matthew Lillard as a mysterious new character, Mr. Charles, who’s quickly become the subject of fan speculation.

Season Details and Premiere

Season 2 of Daredevil: Born Again, created by Dario Scardapane, Chris Ord, and Matt Corman, has eight episodes.

The trailer suggests a grittier, more serious story with lots of action, focusing on themes of fighting back and finding forgiveness.

Season 2 premieres March 24 at 6 p.m. PT, only on Disney+.
