Kim Kardashian Crashes North West’s Instagram Live and Steals the Show

Kim Kardashian recently showed she’s a mom first, even with a busy career. She unexpectedly joined her 12-year-old daughter North West’s Instagram Live stream, demonstrating she makes time to monitor what her daughter shares online.

North West quickly alerted her online audience when she heard her mom, Kim Kardashian, approaching. After being asked what she was watching, North playfully announced, “Guys, the GOAT is here!” Kim seemed delighted by the nickname, jokingly saying she hoped someone had captured the moment and that being called the GOAT might be a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

The playful conversation between mother and daughter became funny when North suggested Kim show her face on camera to potentially earn money from all the viewers watching. “What?! No, no, no,” Kim quickly responded, making it clear she wasn’t prepared to appear on camera in her comfortable clothes.

“I really don’t want to do this,” Kim continued, but she stayed to make sure everything went smoothly. She let the livestream continue, but made it clear she wouldn’t be participating any further, saying with a laugh, “I’m going to bed, so I’m not joining the Live.”

Kim closely monitors North’s online activity and always wants to be there when North is interacting online. Although she encourages North’s creativity, she only allowed North to use social media with strict rules about safety and adult supervision.

This relatable parenting moment is happening as Kim makes a big career change, moving from reality television to acting in scripted projects. She’s currently shooting the Netflix comedy The Fifth Wheel, which is directed by Eva Longoria and written by Paula Pell.

Kim makes her debut as the main character in a new film, playing a stylish and unexpected guest at a wild high school reunion in Las Vegas. The movie also stars Nikki Glaser, Fortune Feimster, Brenda Song, and Jack Whitehall, creating a fantastic group of performers.

This project comes after Kim’s role in the Ryan Murphy legal drama All’s Fair, which first aired in late 2025. She stars as Allura Grant, a successful divorce lawyer who heads a top Los Angeles law firm comprised entirely of women.

Kim has proven herself as a serious actress in the show, alongside stars like Glenn Close, Naomi Watts, and Sarah Paulson. Her daughter, North, is also pursuing her own creative path, recently sharing her song, “Piercing on My Hand.”

In addition to her musical pursuits, North is currently homeschooled, studying practical subjects like branding and making music. Kim Kardashian has said that North’s focus on these areas has actually made it easier to co-parent with Kanye West.

With the eighth season of The Kardashians now streaming on Hulu, viewers are getting a more intimate view of Kim’s busy life – juggling law school, her acting work, and raising her children as a single parent. She’s continually proving people wrong by successfully transitioning from a reality TV personality to a well-respected producer and actress.

Kim Kardashian is constantly in the spotlight, whether she’s attending events like red carpets in Paris or even managing her social media presence. And with her upcoming acting projects, 2026 looks set to be her most prominent year in front of the camera yet.
