I’m really excited about this new project because it shows how much Scott’s working relationship with the director has grown. They worked together before on the movie Tenet back in 2020, and Scott actually created the main song, ‘The Plan,’ for it. It’s cool to see them collaborating again and taking things to the next level!
In a 2020 interview with GQ, Nolan praised the artist, saying his involvement perfectly completed a year of work. He also highlighted how quickly and deeply the artist understood the musical and storytelling structure he and Ludwig Göransson were developing, calling his contributions insightful and profound.
Everyone is anticipating ‘The Odyssey’ as a major film release, thanks to both its impressive cast and the ambitious way it’s being made. Matt Damon stars as Odysseus, the legendary hero, and he’s joined by a fantastic group of actors including Anne Hathaway, Robert Pattinson, Lupita Nyong’o, Zendaya, Charlize Theron, Benny Safdie, and Elliot Page.
This movie is notable not just for its famous actors, but also for its groundbreaking filmmaking. It’s the first story-driven film ever shot completely with IMAX cameras. This was possible thanks to a new protective casing, nicknamed a ‘blimp,’ which significantly reduced the loud noise usually made by IMAX equipment.
This new technology lets filmmakers capture subtle, character-focused scenes that were difficult to film before due to noisy equipment.
Christopher Nolan recently discussed how a new blimp-based camera system is revolutionizing filmmaking. In an interview with Empire Magazine, he explained that this technology allows for incredibly close and natural shots, even capturing clear audio when actors are speaking softly. He believes it will enable filmmakers to create more intimate and visually stunning scenes than ever before.
