Kim Kardashian Shares the Funny Names Her Kids Picked for Their 4 Dogs

Kim Kardashian’s kids have been flexing their creativity lately, and recently they got to name the family’s new puppies! Kim shared that her four children – North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm – each chose a name for the Pomeranian puppies they received for Christmas.

On January 23th, Kim revealed the nicknames her kids picked for their four dogs on her Instagram Story. She shared the names – Uzi, Teddy, Cookie, and Cinnamon Roll – and playfully challenged her followers to guess which dog belongs to each child.

The reality star first showed off the puppies on Christmas Day, telling her followers that each of her children received one. She shared videos of the puppies enjoying new toys, and since then, they’ve become a regular and beloved part of family life, often seen in videos of the kids playing outside.

Kim recently posted an adorable video of her children, Chicago and Psalm, playfully racing their new pets around the house. In the video, taken on January 4th, Psalm explained to his mom, “Since we’re faster than the doggies, we have to race like this, Mommy!”

Although the children quickly chose names, Kim has previously shared her own difficulties with naming her kids. She once revealed in a fan Q&A that it took her several days to name her oldest daughter, and she remembers it took about a week to finally settle on the name North.

It’s funny how the name North came about! I remember Kim saying she actually got the idea from Jay Leno – he made it as a joke on his show. She initially thought, ‘There’s no way I’d ever name my daughter that!’ But clearly, things changed, and it ended up being the perfect fit.

The Kardashians are still hugely popular in 2026, and their latest season is currently on Hulu. Kim Kardashian is also branching out from reality TV and fashion, now starring in a new legal drama called All’s Fair. Created by Ryan Murphy, the show features Kim as a successful lawyer at an all-women firm.
