No matter what happens in this current season, there’s still more Invincible to come. Prime Video has already renewed the show for a fifth season, and work on future seasons might even be underway.
I just read an interview with Robert Kirkman, the creator of Invincible, and he’s hinting at what’s coming in season four! He said it’s going to be really brutal, but not like the previous seasons. Apparently, while there will still be that classic Invincible action, season four is going to hit us with a lot more emotional weight, and he thinks that’s going to surprise a lot of fans – me included! I’m definitely bracing myself.
The creator also explains that the show’s violence will feel earned through the characters’ development, and that it will successfully blend compelling storytelling with impressive action. The trailer for season four of Invincible suggests the series will continue to deliver on both fronts.
