Keanu Reeves and his girlfriend, Alexandra Grant, enjoyed a romantic evening ice skating at Rockefeller Center to celebrate the end of his Broadway run. The couple went skating the night after the final performance of “Waiting for Godot,” which Keanu starred in with Alex Winter, on January 4th.
The show was incredibly popular, consistently selling out and receiving rave reviews, making it a fantastic first Broadway experience for Reeves. Afterwards, Keanu surprised Alexandra with a special date – ice skating! She shared photos and videos of their fun night on Instagram, expressing her joy at trying something new and thanking everyone who helped make it happen.
She shared that Keanu Reeves asked her out on a date last Monday after a performance of Waiting for Godot in New York City. ⛸️⛸️⛸️⛸️⛸️ She also expressed her gratitude to the Rockefeller Center staff for their hospitality, including providing hot cocoa, hats, and assistance getting onto the ice.

Alexandra shared her experience of returning to skating after a long break. She joked that it was tough getting used to figure skates and toe picks after years of playing hockey, saying, “It’s no joke!”
The couple took pictures with the famous Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree, and Alexandra shared her appreciation for the young skaters practicing for the Winter Olympics. She quoted Olympic skater Alysa Liu, saying, “The most important thing in life is connecting with people—it means more than anything else.” Alexandra then added her own thoughts, emphasizing the importance of connection, finding joy, pushing yourself even when exhausted, trying new things, being authentic, and remaining open to unexpected experiences.
The ice rink at Rockefeller Center is usually open from 11 a.m. to midnight, but it looks like this couple had a special, private skating session after a show to celebrate. Based on Alexandra’s post, they clearly had a wonderful and memorable evening together, marking a big achievement for Keanu.
