Resident Evil Requiem Unleashes New Gameplay, Porsche & Hamilton Collabs Ahead of February 2026 Launch

Capcom recently revealed a lot of details about Resident Evil Requiem during a showcase, including new gameplay, exciting brand partnerships, and when it will be released. The game is confirmed to launch worldwide on February 27, 2026.

Leon and Grace Lead Dual Campaigns of Horror and Action

In Resident Evil Requiem, you play as two characters: Grace Ashcroft, an FBI analyst, and Leon S. Kennedy, a popular agent from the DSO. The game lets you switch between playing in first-person and third-person, blending scary survival horror moments with fast-paced action.

  • Leon Kennedy wields firearms, executes brutal hatchet and chainsaw attacks, and performs finishing moves.
  • Grace Ashcroft begins in a zombie-infested sanatorium with limited inventory, crafting tools from infected blood, and makes use of the powerful—but scarce—Requiem revolver.

Players will battle zombies that still cling to pieces of their past lives—for example, a chef who can’t stop trying to cook—which makes fighting them strangely strategic.

The story revolves around the enigmatic term “Elpis,” which connects Grace’s history, the circumstances surrounding her mother Alyssa Ashcroft’s death, and the task Leon is currently undertaking.

Difficulty Modes Cater to Casual and Hardcore Fans

Requiem offers multiple difficulty settings:

  • Casual Mode includes aim assist and forgiving damage levels.
  • Classic Mode brings back Ink Ribbons for saving as Grace and more intense survival elements.

Requiem Drops on All Major Platforms Plus GeForce NOW

Resident Evil Requiem launches day-one on:

Porsche and Hamilton Step Into the Survival Horror World

Capcom revealed two major collaborations:

  • Porsche designed a custom Cayenne Turbo GT using advanced 3D printing. The SUV appears in-game as Leon’s personal ride.
  • Hamilton Watch Co. crafted real-world versions of the in-game watches worn by Leon and Grace—limited to 2,000 units worldwide, launching February 27.
