‘Euphoria’ Season 3 Trailer Confirms Big Rumor Related To Sydney Sweeney’s Character

After a four-year break, the highly anticipated third season of Euphoria is almost here, and the recently released trailer has fans excited. This season will take place five years after the events of season two, with the characters now navigating life as young adults and facing fresh obstacles.

Sydney Sweeney’s character, Cassie, has a new and unexpected job this season: she’s working as an OnlyFans creator, which is shown in the trailer with her dressed in a bunny costume. Her fiancé, Nate (played by Jacob Elordi), is upset about it, saying, “I work all day, and my bride-to-be is putting herself out there online.” According to showrunner Sam Levinson, Cassie and Nate will get married this season, and the wedding night will be “unforgettable.”

Zendaya will return as Rue, now living in Mexico and facing financial difficulties involving Jules, played by Hunter Schafer, who is pursuing art and her future. Alexa Demie is back as Maddy, working at a talent agency, and Maude Apatow reprises her role as Lexi, helping a showrunner portrayed by Sharon Stone. Viewers can also expect to see familiar faces like Eric Dane as Cal, Colman Domingo as Ali, Chloe Cherry as Faye, and Martha Kelly as Laurie throughout the season.

The third season will feature several new characters, including Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje as a powerful drug dealer who will significantly impact Rue’s storyline in Mexico. Other new cast members include Rosalía, Danielle Deadwyler, Eli Roth, Natasha Lyonne, Marshawn Lynch, and Trisha Paytas. However, some characters from previous seasons won’t be back – notably, Barbie Ferreira’s Kat and Storm Reid’s Gia, Rue’s sister, will not appear this season.

As the show nears its end, I’m completely hooked to see what Sam Levinson does with these characters. They’re so messed up and fascinating, and I’m really invested in seeing what happens next in their often chaotic lives. I can’t wait to see how it all wraps up!

Euphoria season 3 premieres on April 12 on HBO and HBO Max in the United States.
