This puts her slightly ahead of Scarlett Johansson, whose films have grossed approximately $15.40 billion. The recent success of James Cameron’s Avatar: Fire and Ash, which has already made over $1.23 billion since its December release, has contributed significantly to Saldaña’s impressive box office total.
Zoe Saldaña first played Neytiri in 2009 in the original Avatar, which became the highest-grossing movie of all time, earning $2.9 billion worldwide. Avengers: Endgame (2019) is the second highest-grossing film, and the Avatar sequel, The Way of Water (2022), ranks third. Remarkably, Saldaña has starred in four films that have each earned over $2 billion, including Avengers: Infinity War (2018).
