
As a total film buff, I’ve always been fascinated by actors who decide to direct. It seems like a really natural step for those who are creatively driven and want to have a bigger say in how a movie turns out. You often see these performers spending years on set, really soaking up everything about how films are made before they take the plunge. Because they’ve been the actor, they’re amazing at communicating with their cast and really understanding what it takes to deliver a great performance. I’ve put together a list of some really well-known guys who’ve made that jump from acting in front of the camera to calling the shots as a director.
Clint Eastwood
