I was so excited to see Taylor at the Netflix premiere! She looked amazing posing with Ben Affleck and Matt Damon – they all seemed to be having a great time. Following the Golden Globes ceremony on January 11th, Taylor and other celebrities traveled from the West Coast to New York City to celebrate the new film. The New York premiere was a key event during awards season, and Taylor used the opportunity to showcase a striking outfit.
I’m really excited about this new Netflix thriller called The Rip. It’s from Joe Carnahan, who wrote and directed it, and he came up with the story alongside Michael McGrale. From what I understand, it’s about these Miami cops who find a huge pile of cash, and things quickly go south. Apparently, once the word gets out about the money, everyone starts to wonder who they can actually trust. It sounds like a classic, suspenseful setup!
The film stars Matt Damon, Ben Affleck, Steven Yeun, and Teyana Taylor, alongside Sasha Calle, Catalina Sandino Moreno, Scott Adkins, Kyle Chandler, Néstor Carbonell, and Lina Esco. Teyana Taylor plays Detective Numa Baptiste, and Damon and Affleck star as fellow officers dealing with a chaotic situation.
Netflix has confirmed that The Rip will be released on January 16.
