Blake Shelton is addressing the ongoing rumors about his marriage to Gwen Stefani. During a recent radio show appearance on Saturday, the country singer directly responded to speculation about a possible divorce, which has been circulating online since late 2025.
Blake playfully criticized the way tabloids report on celebrities. He joked that stories about his relationship with Gwen would flip-flop depending on where they were seen. “I noticed articles saying Gwen and I had broken up,” he explained. “Then, a week later, a photo of us leaving the grocery store would appear, and suddenly we were back together!”
He even said some fan-made photos and videos online are so convincing, they almost fool him. He’s seen pictures of himself and Gwen that look incredibly realistic, but he knows they’re fake – like a photo of him wearing a shirt he doesn’t own, or in a car he’s never seen. Because there’s so much false information circulating, he’s become completely skeptical and doesn’t believe anything he sees online anymore.
Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani first connected while working together on The Voice in 2015, bonding over their recent divorces. They’ve been together ever since, sharing both personal and professional moments – from writing songs about heartbreak to getting married in a private ceremony at Blake’s ranch in Oklahoma in 2021 – all while being in the public eye.
Okay, so Gwen tried to shut down all the rumors earlier this month, which I thought was SO sweet! She posted this adorable video of her and him kissing on New Year’s Eve – seriously, it was the cutest – to welcome 2026. It was like she was saying, ‘See? We’re happy!’ I’ve rewatched it like a million times, obviously.
Blake recently told PEOPLE that he’s been thinking about his upcoming 10-year anniversary in 2025. He admitted a decade is a long time, but he’s amazed their relationship still feels so vibrant. He believes maintaining that initial excitement and happiness is the secret to a lasting connection, and it seems like they’re still enjoying the early stages of their love after all these years.
