Okay, so I just heard about this new Netflix show, and it sounds amazing! It’s a Colombian telenovela dropping on January 14th, and it’s all about this incredibly gifted songwriter, Yeimy Montoya. She gets thrown in jail for something she didn’t do, and the whole series is about her getting revenge on the people who set her up. Apparently, it’s set in the world of reggaeton – lots of music and performances – but it’s also a really classic story about getting even. From what I’ve read, it’s also about finding yourself again and how powerful it can be to express yourself, even when things are really tough. I’m definitely adding it to my watchlist!
