Nikki Glaser kicked off the 2025 Golden Globes with a funny and daring opening monologue. She playfully teased many of Hollywood’s stars, with Leonardo DiCaprio being a frequent subject of jokes about his dating life.
Glaser playfully teased the 51-year-old actor about his history of dating younger women. “You’ve worked with amazing directors, won three Golden Globes, and an Oscar,” she said, getting a laugh from the crowd. “But the most impressive thing is achieving all that before your girlfriend turned 30!” DiCaprio chuckled as Glaser continued, “Leo, I apologize for the cheap joke – I really tried to avoid it! But honestly, we don’t really know much else about you, so share something with us!”

People close to the couple say their demanding schedules and frequent travel contributed to the split. Leonardo DiCaprio famously dated model Gisele Bündchen from 2000 to 2005, before she married Tom Brady.
