I just finished watching this new series, and I have to say, I was really impressed. It’s based on a French show, and stars Kaitlin Olson – she’s fantastic as a super-smart single mom who unexpectedly starts helping the police solve crimes. It’s a clever mix of a classic crime procedural and a character-driven comedy-drama. What really works is the writing – it’s really sharp and witty – and Olson is absolutely captivating in the lead role. It’s a show that’s clearly connecting with audiences, and I can see why!
‘Percy Jackson and the Olympians’ (2023–Present)

This show is based on the popular book series and follows Percy, a young demigod, on a mission to find Zeus’s stolen lightning bolt. Along with his friends Annabeth and Grover, Percy discovers a world where the stories of Greek mythology are actually real. The first season closely follows the plot of the first book and adds more detail to the world of Camp Half-Blood. It’s become a major fantasy series for the streaming service, attracting a large and loyal audience of viewers young and old.
