The Golden Globes aren’t usually considered a hugely important awards show, and those who present them are aware of that. It’s hard for any event to compete with the Oscars, and sometimes even the Super Bowl gets more attention. Ultimately, people enjoy seeing their favorite actors and actresses celebrated.
Okay, so as a music fan, the Golden Globes aren’t quite the spectacle the Oscars are. They don’t really go all-out with musical performances like the Oscars do. But, don’t worry, there’s usually still some music involved – it’s just not as much of a focus!
Several musicians will be presenters at the 2026 Golden Globes, which is great because we’ll get to hear them speak. The presenter list includes Miley Cyrus, Charli XCX, Joe Keery, Snoop Dogg, and Queen Latifah.
2026 Golden Globes feature a number of musical greats
Keery is surprisingly talented – not just as an actor, but also as the indie rock artist Djo, where he creates really great music. It’s fair to compare him to Donald Glover, who successfully balances acting with his music project, Childish Gambino. Luckily, both Keery and Glover excel in all their creative pursuits.
