Good news for Bruno Mars fans – his new album is complete! After almost ten years since his last solo record, the singer, songwriter, and performer has announced that his fourth album is finished and on its way.
Mars has become known for consistently releasing popular songs, including chart-toppers like “Just the Way You Are” and “24K Magic.” He’s also collaborated with many other well-known artists such as Anderson .Paak, Lady Gaga, Adele, and B.o.B.
Although it’s been nearly a decade since Bruno Mars released a solo album, he’s remained in the spotlight. In 2022, he teamed up with Anderson .Paak to create Silk Sonic, and they released popular, mellow songs like “Leave the Door Open” and “777.”
Bruno Mars confirms new solo album after long wait
In 2024, he collaborated with Lady Gaga on the song “Die With a Smile” from her album Mayhem, and teamed up with Rosé of Blackpink for the hugely popular track “APT.,” which has already received several Grammy nominations. Last year’s collaboration with Sexyy Red on “Fat, Juicy and Wet” demonstrated his continued willingness to explore new sounds and stay current with modern music.
Mars announced on X (formerly Twitter) on January 5th that his new album is finished. Interestingly, he posted a similar message a decade earlier, in 2016, before releasing 24K Magic. This sparked a lot of excitement online, with fans recalling the beginning of his last album cycle and eagerly anticipating what’s coming next.

Released in 2016, Bruno Mars’ 24K Magic was a huge hit, featuring popular songs like “24K Magic,” “That’s What I Like,” “Finesse” (with a remix featuring Cardi B), and “Versace on the Floor.” The album earned the Grammy Award for Album of the Year and has been certified triple-platinum, meaning it sold over three million copies.
After ten years of making music, working with other artists, and developing his sound, everyone is eagerly awaiting Bruno Mars’ next album.
Although the song list hasn’t been revealed, fans can likely expect the same blend of upbeat, memorable tunes, heartfelt ballads, and innovative sounds that Bruno Mars is known for. This announcement confirms that Bruno Mars is back and ready to show everyone why he’s still a major force in pop, R&B, and hip hop. The long wait is finally over, and his fans have reason to celebrate!
