The movie features Jennifer Lawrence as Grace, a young mother in Montana battling severe postpartum depression and psychosis. These struggles strain her marriage and her grip on reality. Robert Pattinson plays her husband, Jackson, and the film also stars LaKeith Stanfield, Nick Nolte, and Sissy Spacek.
Die My Love debuted at the Cannes Film Festival on May 17, 2025, and was in contention for the prestigious Palme d’Or award. Lawrence’s performance later earned her a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actress in a Drama.
Mubi released the film in U.S. cinemas on November 7th. By December 2025, it had become Ramsay’s most commercially successful movie to date.
