Okay, so it’s 2026, and I’m still reeling from the season one finale of The Mighty Nein – seriously, it dropped right before Christmas and was amazing. Let’s be real, not much in life is guaranteed, but if there’s one thing you can count on, it’s that anything Critical Role does is going to be gold. And now they’re teaming up with Viva La Dirt League for a brand new actual-play series on Beacon! It’s set in this world called Daggerheart, and I’ve got an exclusive first look at the trailer – it’s called Daggerheart Azerim, and it looks fantastic!
Everyone will love watching this exciting group embark on a new journey! Here’s some background information about Daggerheart Azerim to go with the trailer.
The show centers around the well-known adventuring group, Baradun and the Dickheads. What starts as a seemingly easy quest within the Beast Feast Daggerheart campaign soon becomes much more dangerous. When Bodger’s grandfather’s treasured hammer goes missing, the Dickheads initially think it’s a simple theft. However, their investigation reveals a growing, terrifying Void-based threat that could destroy Azerim, combining the creators’ trademark humor with increasingly intense stakes and elements of cosmic horror.
