The TV series The Beauty is adapted from the comic book created by Jeremy Haun and Jason A. Hurley. It centers around detectives trying to solve the mystery of a strange virus spread through sexual contact. This virus causes people to become physically perfect, but at a horrifying and dangerous cost.
The show boasts a talented cast, with Evan Peters playing Cooper Madsen, Anthony Ramos as The Assassin, Jeremy Pope as Jeremy, Ashton Kutcher as The Corporation, and Rebecca Hall as Jordan Bennett. Isabella Rossellini also appears throughout the series as Franny Forst.
Ryan Murphy and Matt Hodgson, known for their dark and visually captivating style, created this series. The latest trailer suggests the show will explore the disturbing effects of a virus and the challenging investigations and ethical questions that arise from it.
With Ryan Murphy at the helm and a well-known cast, The Beauty has the potential to be a major hit when it comes out in early 2026. The show’s mix of horror and relevant social issues feels very current, and the trailer creates a truly unsettling and gripping atmosphere.
