Will Smith Accused of Sexual Harassment by Tour Violinist

Musician Brian King Joseph is suing Will Smith and his management company, Treyball Studios, according to a lawsuit obtained by Variety.

The lawsuit claims Smith acted inappropriately and intentionally manipulated Joseph for sexual abuse while on the Based on a True Story: 2025 Tour.

Joseph, a former contestant on America’s Got Talent, says he initially signed on in November 2024 to perform in San Diego. He was then asked to join the entire tour and contribute to Smith’s next album.

Lawsuit Details Alleged Hotel Room Incident

The case revolves around an event that reportedly happened during a concert in Las Vegas in March 2025.

Joseph says the key to his hotel room disappeared for a few hours, and he believes hotel staff were the only ones who could have entered his room.

He claims someone entered his room without his consent and left several items: cleaning wipes, a bottle of HIV medication with a different person’s name on it, and a handwritten note implying a secret meeting. The note read, “Brian, I’ll be back no later than 5:30, just us [heart drawing], Stone F.”

Joseph reported the situation to hotel security, Smith’s representatives, and local police.

Termination and Retaliation Claims

According to Joseph, he was fired shortly after reporting the incident, and a manager even accused him of fabricating the story.

The lawsuit alleges the firing caused emotional distress, PTSD, and financial losses.

Joseph is asking a jury to decide how much money he should receive as compensation. A spokesperson for Will Smith has not yet commented on the matter, according to Variety.
