A popular theory suggests Eddie could be connected to Kas the Bloody-Handed, a D&D character who turns into a vampire after double-crossing Vecna.
Even though fans are hoping, there’s nothing to suggest Eddie will be back in Stranger Things Season 5, either as a survivor or through any kind of supernatural reappearance.
Why fans thought Eddie Munson could return as a vampire

While Season 5 Part 2 does mention vampires, it’s not related to Eddie Munson at all! In Episode 5, Kali shares a really unsettling detail about Dr. Kay – he used to take her blood constantly. She describes him as ‘a kind of vampire,’ but it’s definitely a metaphorical comparison – she’s using the term to express how draining and predatory he was, not that he was actually a vampire!
Dr. Kay was collecting Kali’s blood to continue the research Dr. Brenner started – trying to give pregnant women powers similar to Eleven’s. The series confirms that vampires aren’t part of this story.
