Zenith for PVE

Damage and stats

Zenith’s appearance suggests she’s a powerful attacker, like an archer, but she’s actually built to withstand a lot of damage with high health, rather than dealing a lot of it.

Zenith starts with a base attack of just 198, which is quite low. Her unique weapon boosts her HP, not her attack power, and her bonding bonuses primarily improve her health and defense – increasing HP by 62.4% and defense by 13.4%.

To illustrate how low Zenith’s attack is, let’s compare to other units in the game:

Unit Base ATK at max level (ignoring potential stats)
Blade (highest) 429 (+45% ATK exclusive gear stat)
Gray 330 (+90% crit rate exclusive gear stat)
Kry (4-star) 252 (+11.99 crit rate exclusive gear stat)
Gynt (3-star) 210 (+27% ATK exclusive gear stat)
Zenith 198 (+54% HP exclusive gear stat)
Rigenette 175 (+40 ATK exclusive gear stat)

It’s true – Zenith actually has lower attack power than a 3-star Gynt. Surprisingly, she even has less attack than Rigenette when Rigenette is using her special, unique ultimate rare equipment.

So why is Zenith still considered an great character? We’ll answer that below.

Damage amplification and chain stacking

As a Zenith fan, I’m always excited to talk about how much damage she can boost! Basically, when you fully max out her potential (+5), she makes the next attacker do a whopping 3.2 times more damage. This comes from a 1.6x boost from her chain ability and another 2x from her skill – it’s a crazy combination that really helps take down tough enemies!

Robin Hood and Poolside Guardian, when both equipped with their Zenith upgrades, work incredibly well together. Poolside Guardian’s Zenith boosts the damage from chained attacks, doubling the effect from 10% to 20% per chain. This combination makes them exceptionally strong for focusing damage on a single enemy.

Zenith is great for positioning “Front” units onto tricky tiles, particularly in “Skip” battles. Getting a full area-of-effect attack on a fiend’s weak spots is crucial for high scores, and Zenith is unique in her ability to draw enemy focus with a taunt (Concentrated Fire). While Rigenette, a 3-star character, can offer a similar effect, she doesn’t boost damage, making her a much weaker alternative.

Keep in mind that Zenith is crucial for playing Ventana, as her abilities get extra benefits when enemies are affected by Taunt or Concentrated Fire.

Zenith for PVP

Zenith is a top tier PVP unit.

Zenith stands out because she costs absolutely no SP to use. While she doesn’t deal a lot of damage on her own, the fact that she’s free makes her a great addition to any team looking for extra firepower. She’s an easy way to boost your overall damage output.

Zenith is a powerful character who excels against many commonly used heroes, like Void Granhildr, Apostle Olivier, and Pool Party Justia. She’s particularly effective against Schera due to a natural elemental advantage. Plus, her ability to boost damage makes it easier for other characters to defeat Comeback Idol Granhildr, even if those characters can’t remove buffs.

Zenith is fairly durable, starting with 6315 HP and benefiting from gear that boosts her health by 54%. While she isn’t a dedicated “tank” – lacking defensive abilities and not having as much HP as true tanks – she can still effectively absorb damage and protect allies.

Zenith is powerful because it lets any teammate attack enemies hiding behind cover or in difficult-to-reach spots. For instance, combining Zenith with Blood Glutton Justia creates a wide-area attack that hits a 3×3 area for just 2 SP.

Conclusion

Robin Hood Zenith is a valuable addition to any team because she does something no other character can. She’s the best choice for significantly boosting damage to a single enemy, and she’s the only 5-star character who applies the Concentrated Fire effect. Players often use her with Wilhelmina in PvE to create incredibly powerful chain attacks against single targets.

Robin Hood Zenith is a highly effective character in Player vs. Player (PVP) battles. She’s durable and doesn’t require any Special Points (SP) to use, making her a great choice. It’s best to upgrade her to at least +3, which allows her skill to be activated without costing any SP.
