Dwayne Johnson gave fans another peek behind the scenes of Jumanji 3, hinting that this movie could be the last installment in the series.
I’m so excited about the latest news! It’s amazing to think it’s been 30 years since the first Jumanji movie came out in 1995 – and it starred the incredible Robin Williams, who we all miss. It feels like yesterday!
The Rock also celebrated Christmas with a shopping spree at Walmart.
Johnson announced that filming is progressing well and that the team paused to remember Robbie Williams and celebrate the legacy of the original movie’s creators and actors.
He stated that Jumanji 3 will be the last movie in the current series, and he felt this was particularly special considering the history of the Jumanji films.

Robin Williams Tribute Included in Final Film
Dwayne Johnson shared a touching way he honored Robin Williams in the new Jumanji movie: his character, Dr. Smolder Bravestone, wears the actual dice from the original Jumanji film as a necklace.
This item comes directly from the 1995 movie as a way to honor Robin Williams and the people who originally created it, recognizing their important work.
As a fan, I’m really excited to hear that the new Jumanji movie is being made to truly celebrate everything the original films stood for, and to give this story a proper ending. It’s also cool that they’re filming Jumanji 3 right here in Los Angeles – that’s a first for this series, and it’s awesome to see them shooting here!

Johnson Shares Additional Behind-the-Scenes Footage
Johnson shared a tribute post and a new behind-the-scenes video offering fans a glimpse into the movie’s progress and impressive scope. He’s consistently talked about the film as a meaningful conclusion to the series.
The movie brings back Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Karen Gillan, and Jack Black, and Jake Kasdan is once again the director. Kasdan, Jeff Pinkner, and Scott Rosenberg collaborated on the script.
