Adam the Woo, a popular YouTuber who made videos about exploring theme parks, abandoned places, and Disney, has died at 51 years old. He was also known as David Adam Williams.
The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office reported that Bob Williams died at his home in Celebration, Florida, on Monday, December 22nd.
TMZ was the first to report the news of his death. According to a sheriff’s office spokesperson, deputies were initially called to the home and couldn’t reach the resident. They returned at 2:53 pm after a friend, using a borrowed ladder, saw through a third-story window that a man was unresponsive in bed. Fire Rescue helped deputies enter the home, where the man was pronounced dead.
The office also confirmed that Williams’ father was notified.
The sheriff’s office stated that a medical examination will be conducted to find out how the person died, and the investigation is ongoing.
Many friends and fellow creators have expressed their sadness online. Justin Scarred, a close friend and YouTuber, shared a heartfelt message on Facebook, saying he was devastated by the news and didn’t know what to say. He acknowledged the circulating rumors and emphasized the immense loss, describing Williams as a true giant and a friend like family. Scarred also asked for support and prayers for Williams’ parents, Jim and June, and his sister, Faith.

Chris Yon, a friend of Williams, expressed his disbelief on Instagram, sharing photos of the two together. He recalled visiting Williams just four days prior in Celebration, Florida, where they drove around in a golf cart, admiring decorations and discussing Williams’ recent travels, upcoming YouTube plans, and a potential future baseball game. Yon wrote that he was utterly shocked and heartbroken by the news, offering a final farewell to David Adam Williams.
