Fans of the Netflix hit Stranger Things are eagerly awaiting the release of its final season, and now we know how long each of the last four episodes will be. Ross Duffer, one of the show’s creators, revealed the episode lengths on Instagram this week, giving viewers an idea of what to expect.
The new season starts on Christmas Day with three episodes. First, “Shock Jock” will air for 68 minutes, then “Escape from Camazotz” for 75 minutes, and “The Bridge” for 66 minutes. The season will conclude on December 31st with a two-hour and eight-minute finale called “The Rightside Up”.

I’m so excited! Netflix is doing something really cool for the finale – they’re showing it in over 500 theaters across the U.S. and Canada! And get this – it’s free! They’re not even selling tickets. Instead, the theaters will give out vouchers for snacks and drinks. If you’re a fan, you can even get a free ticket to one of the Netflix-owned theaters through an RSVP system. It’s a fantastic way for all of us to experience the ending together!
The first four episodes of Season 5 were released right before Thanksgiving and were an immediate success, attracting 59.6 million viewers in just five days. To put that in perspective, Fool Me Once, which ranked as one of Netflix’s most popular English-language series, earned 98.2 million views over a much longer period of 91 days.
Now that we know how long the episodes are and when the final installment will be released on Netflix and in cinemas, fans are getting ready for a major holiday event packed with suspense, drama, and the signature excitement of Stranger Things.
