I’m so excited! It was just announced at Jump Festa that Black Clover is coming back in 2026! They shared some new info on stage, and I can’t wait to see what they’ve got planned.
A new trailer and image gave fans a sneak peek at the highly anticipated series. When it launches, the anime will be available worldwide on Crunchyroll.

The animation for the new series will be done by Studio Pierrot, the team behind the original. The main voice actors are also back, including Gakuto Kajiwara as Asta, Nobunaga Shimazaki as Yuno, Junichi Suwabe as Yami Sukehiro, Kana Yuki as Noelle Silva, and Hiro Shimono as Nacht Faust.

Yuki Tabata’s manga series, Black Clover, started in Weekly Shonen Jump in February 2015 before moving to Jump Giga in December 2023. There are currently 37 volumes available in Japan. The first anime adaptation, directed by Tatsuya Yoshihara, aired from October 2017 to March 2021, consisting of 170 episodes. The story continued with the film Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King, which was released in Japan in March 2023.
Asta and Yuno are two orphans who grew up together in a world powered by magic. Yuno is a prodigy with incredible magical talent, but Asta was born without any magic whatsoever. When they turn fifteen, both boys unexpectedly receive grimoires – special books that enhance magical powers.
Asta possesses a special grimoire that grants him the ability to negate magic, effectively canceling out the spells of his opponents. Though they often compete, both he and his friend share a common goal: to one day become the Wizard King.
