As a huge Jujutsu Kaisen fan, I’m so excited to hear the third season is coming! They just showed a new trailer at Jump Festa 2026, and it looks amazing – they even revealed a cool new visual with more of the characters. The best part? The first two episodes are dropping together on January 8th, 2026! I’ve already marked my calendar.

The next season of the show will cover the beginning of the Culling Game storyline, based on Gege Akutami’s manga. The opening theme, called “AIZO,” will be sung by King Gnu, a band that has contributed music to the series before – they previously created “SPECIALZ” for the Shibuya Incident Arc and “One Way” for the JUJUTSU KAISEN 0 movie.
A new teaser visual has been released for the third season of the TV anime Jujutsu Kaisen, showcasing the intense battle between Yuji Itadori and Yuta Okkotsu, along with some new characters! The first episode will be a special one-hour broadcast featuring both the first and second episodes.

Season 3 will feature six new voice actors! Kazuya Nakai will be the voice of Kinji Hakari, Yuki Sakakihara will play Kirara Hoshi, Tomokazu Sugita will voice Hiromi Higuruma, Satoshi Tsuruoka will be Fumihiko Takaba, Yutaka Aoyama will voice Reggie Star, and Neeko will play Kogane. These talented additions will enrich the story and add more complexity to the Culling Game arc.
Shota Goshozono directed the series, which was produced by MAPPA. Hiroshi Seko wrote the series’ composition, while Yosuke Yajima and Hiromi Niwa designed the characters. Yoshimasa Teuri is once again composing the music.
The entire cast is back for the new season. You’ll still be able to watch everything on Crunchyroll, including the first two seasons and the movie, Jujutsu Kaisen 0.
Jujutsu Kaisen centers around Yuji Itadori, a remarkably strong high school student. After swallowing a cursed object to protect a friend, he becomes the vessel for the potent curse, Ryomen Sukuna. With the help of the powerful sorcerer Satoru Gojo, Yuji attends Tokyo Jujutsu High School, learning to combat curses and adjusting to a perilous new existence.
