The upcoming season will continue the story of Lestat and Louis, and will introduce Lestat’s mother, Gabriella, played by Jennifer Ehle. I was so excited to see the first photos from Season 3 in Entertainment Weekly! They really showed Louis going through it – covered in blood, it looked intense! Jacob Anderson (who plays Louis) said we’re going to see a really emotional journey for his character, especially exploring his complicated relationship with Lestat. He couldn’t give away too much, but it sounds like Louis will be grappling with who he is and dealing with a lot of inner pain. I can’t wait to see how it all unfolds!
I’m so excited for Season 3 of The Vampire Lestat! From what I’ve heard, they’re really building out the world Anne Rice created, and it sounds like they’re committed to staying true to her stories.
