Gil Gerard pens heartfelt note to the world

The actor reportedly asked his wife to release a statement after his death. It read: “My 82 years have been a wonderful experience. I’ve been incredibly fortunate with the chances I’ve had, the people I’ve known, and the love I’ve shared. My life took me from Arkansas to New York, then Los Angeles, and finally home to North Georgia with my wife, Janet, after 18 amazing years.
