Okay, so I’m hearing some really interesting stuff about how Disney plans to promote the new Avengers movie, ‘Doomsday.’ Apparently, they’re doing something a little different with the trailers, and it’s all connected to the upcoming ‘Avatar’ film, ‘Fire and Ash.’ It sounds like we might see some tie-in or reveal connected to ‘Avatar’ before we get a full look at ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ – pretty clever if you ask me!

They’re planning to rotate four different trailers over the next few weeks, which means we’ll get a lot more to see before the movie finally comes out. I can’t wait!

According to reports, each new trailer for Avengers: Doomsday will only play in theaters for a week. Then, theaters will show the next trailer. So, if you see the movie Avatar: Fire and Ash during its opening weekend, you’ll see a different Avengers trailer than someone who goes a week later. This strategy seems intended to get Marvel fans to go to the movies several times to see all the trailers.

For about a month, rumors have been going around the film industry, and The Hollywood Reporter has now confirmed that Disney is planning a trailer rollout for its upcoming movies. Disney is sending theaters all four trailers ahead of time, with specific dates for when to switch them out. Marvel Studios hasn’t officially commented on this plan.

Rotating trailers are now available for Avatar: Fire and Ash, the next movie in James Cameron’s Avatar series. This film follows Avatar: The Way of Water and is the third installment in the franchise. James Cameron directed the movie and wrote the screenplay with Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver, building on a story idea developed with Josh Friedman and Shane Salerno.

The movie features returning actors like Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldaña, Sigourney Weaver, Stephen Lang, and Kate Winslet, along with new additions Oona Chaplin and David Thewlis. Filming took place in New Zealand, starting in 2017 and finishing in late 2020. The extended production schedule was largely due to the complicated technology needed for the underwater scenes.

Costing approximately $400 million to produce, Avatar: Fire and Ash is one of the priciest movies ever created. It premiered in Hollywood on December 1st and will be in U.S. cinemas from December 19th. Two additional Avatar films, numbers 4 and 5, are scheduled to come out in 2029 and 2031, respectively.
