I’ve especially noticed more games featuring Black women as love interests – not just as side characters, but as fully developed companions with their own stories and personalities, whether it’s in a huge RPG or a more straightforward adventure. They often bring really interesting cultural backgrounds and add a lot of depth to the game. I’ve put together a list of twenty games where you can actually romance a Black woman, or where she’s a major love interest for your character.

‘Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas’ (2004)

In the game, CJ can start a relationship with Denise Robinson. Players first meet and rescue her from a fire during the ‘Burning Desire’ mission.
