According to a recent report by Daniel Richtman, DC Studios is searching for a male actor to play a villain in the upcoming The Batman Part II.
According to Richtman, the studio has already made an offer for the part to a well-known actor, but they haven’t revealed who it is yet.
The rumor fits with earlier reports that Matt Reeves is adding more villains to the next Batman movie, continuing the realistic world he created in the first one.

Jeff Sneider Hints at Doctor Arkham
Jeff Sneider from The InSneider also reported the possibility of a new male villain appearing in the film.
Sneider suggested that Doctor Arkham might appear in the show, which would lean more into the psychological horror side of Gotham’s stories.
Adding Doctor Arkham to the series would match the gritty, detective-focused style Matt Reeves established, and fans have been asking for this character since the first film came out.
Doctor Arkham is usually shown as a creepy psychiatrist who works at Arkham Asylum. He’s often linked to the asylum’s most disturbing research and the beginnings of the madness seen in Gotham’s criminals.

Follows Report of Scarlett Johansson as a Female Villain
This news comes soon after reports surfaced suggesting Scarlett Johansson is being considered to play the villain in the next installment.
We don’t yet know much about the character, but fans are guessing she could be anyone from Harley Quinn to a completely new character created specifically for Matt Reeves’ Batman world.
If the recent reports are accurate, The Batman Part II might introduce two significant new villains – and potentially even more – as director Matt Reeves builds out Robert Pattinson’s Gotham universe and continues his planned story arc.
