Where Winds Meet tank build

In Where Winds Meet, tanks take the lead, drawing enemy fire so their teammates can execute powerful combo attacks uninterrupted.

If you’re playing a tank, focus on gear that greatly increases your health and defense. You’ll also want to learn how the special abilities of tank weapons can help you. This particular setup uses the Thundercry Blade and Stormbreaker Spear, both of which lower the damage you take and create protective shields.

Build up the Drumbeat buff by using the spear’s charged attack. This buff significantly increases the damage of your charged attacks, and also makes the Thundercry Blade’s shield ability even more powerful. Combining these will result in incredibly high damage output from your charged attacks.

To get the most damage and survivability from this build, use the Rainwhisper and Moonflare gear sets. Rainwhisper boosts your critical damage while you have a health shield active, and Moonflare helps you generate shields more often during combat.

These four Inner Ways round out this tank build:

  • Exquisite Scenery
  • Art of Resistance
  • Battle Anthem
  • Morale Chant

With the Exquisite Scenery skill, you can perform free, powerful attacks immediately after successfully defending. While the benefit is small at first, it improves as you upgrade the skill. Additionally, Art of Resistance enhances your defenses by extending the duration of your shields.

As a fan, I’m really loving Battle Anthem! It massively increases the damage I do with charged attacks, especially against bosses, and it’s awesome that it extends to other enemies after you upgrade it. And Morale Chant? That’s a game-changer! It gives you a damage boost that gets stronger the more you attack, seriously improving how much damage I can put out.

Where Winds Meet DPS Build

To maximize your damage output in Where Winds Meet, the Heavenquaker Spear and Strategic Sword work incredibly well together.

I’m really excited about this build because it focuses on dealing damage over time with bleed effects! The Strategic Sword is key – once you stack enough bleed, it can unleash a huge burst of damage. What’s cool is that both the Strategic Sword and the Heavenquaker Spear can apply bleed, so I have options and can switch things up depending on the situation.

Start your main attack sequence with the Heavenquaker Spear. Use its special move to build up a power boost depending on how many times you hit your target, then unleash its ultimate skill for high damage and a chance to cause bleeding.

Next, switch to the Strategic Sword. Use its abilities to build up bleed damage on your enemy, and once they have five or more bleed stacks, unleash its special skill for a huge burst of damage. Keep repeating this cycle to maximize your effectiveness.

For this build, the Hawkwing and Eaglerise gear sets are your best options. Hawkwing improves how often your attacks land with extra damage – similar to critical hits, but powered by your overall physical attack strength, so focus on maximizing that stat when choosing your gear.

The Eaglerise armor set helps you stay alive longer by providing a defensive boost called Eaglerise whenever you inflict damage over time, like through bleeding effects. This gives your healers a little more help during difficult challenges. To get the most out of the set, be sure to upgrade each piece to increase your key stats and maximize your damage.

Finally, use these four Inner Ways with this DPS build:

  • Sword Horizon
  • Wolfchaser’s Art
  • Fivefold Bleed
  • Morale Chant

Sword Horizon and Wolfchaser’s Art both enhance your weapon skills, making them essential for this character build.

In Sword Horizon, pressing a skill button for the Strategic Sword twice unleashes a powerful follow-up attack called Crosswind Blade, but only if the enemy is already weakened by bleed effects. With Wolfchaser’s Art, the Heavenquaker Spear’s special abilities become easier to activate, making it more effective against tough bosses and single enemies.

Fivefold Bleed adds a chance for your attacks to cause bleeding, and when the bleed effect is fully stacked, it deals significant piercing damage. However, applying Fivefold Bleed fully resets the duration of any existing bleed on the target, meaning you’ll need to monitor their debuffs to time your use of the Strategic Sword’s bleed explosion effectively.

Morale Chant simply adds more damage with each attack. It’s a helpful boost, and because it activates just by hitting an enemy, it’s like getting a damage increase for free.

Where Winds Meet Healer Build

In Where Winds Meet, healers quietly play a vital role, focusing on keeping their teammates alive in tough fights rather than seeking glory or flashy moves.

This setup combines the Panacea Fan and Soulshade Umbrella, allowing you to both damage enemies and support your teammates from a distance. While you might not deal as much damage as others on the team, the Soulshade Umbrella can still be quite effective.

This build’s core gameplay loop is simple, but you’ll need to adapt it based on how well your team is doing.

Begin by activating the Soulshade Umbrella and using Floating Grace to increase the damage output of your entire team. Next, use the umbrella’s Echoes of a Thousand Plants ability to launch it into the air. While floating, it will automatically heal allies within range and also create Dew, a valuable resource for further healing.

After that, switch to the Panacea Fan to heal your team. You can either directly heal allies with Emerald Dewtouch, or use Cloudburst Healing to create a water clone that heals everyone around it. If your Dew is full while the clone is active, using the ability again will provide a large burst of healing to all allies and also activate the Soulshade Umbrella’s special ability, Echoes of a Thousand Plants.

The Panacea Fan has a powerful ability called Light Dust After Morning Rain. It restores health to both you and your weakest ally, costing 50 Dew to use. This is the Fan’s key skill, as it can even bring downed allies back to life every 30 seconds. Use it when needed, but make sure you’ve built up enough Dew with your other moves first.

For this healing build, the Ivorybloom and Whirlsnow gear sets are the most effective. Ivorybloom boosts your critical healing rate, while Whirlsnow rapidly restores your health when you’re in danger. Keeping yourself alive is crucial for supporting your team, and these sets help you do just that.

Use these four Inner Ways to round out this healing build:

  • Royal Remedy
  • Restoring Blossom
  • Mending Loom
  • Morale Chant

Royal Remedy makes the Panacea Fan’s water clone produce more Dew. It also boosts the fan’s healing, especially critical heals, and works great with the Ivorybloom gear.

Mending Loom improves the Soulshade Umbrella’s Echoes of a Thousand Plants ability by increasing how much Dew it creates. You can then use this Dew to heal yourself even more.

Morale Chant is a must-have for this healing setup because its stacking bonus increases your healing output, not just your damage. In fact, it’s so powerful, you should consider including it in almost any build.
